WHATEVER COVID REQUIREMENTS ARE IN PLACE, we will adhere to them. Here’s hoping everything is behind us by October 2023…
As long as capacity allowances stay at 50% or higher, the 2023 event will take place. If it drops below 50%, we would have to postpone.
Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to COVID-19 and its varients
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By entering the venue and/or the event, you (a) acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death, (b) voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expenses, of any kind (“Claims”), that you may experience or incur, and (c) hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the venue, event promoter(s), vendor(s), and each of their respective parents, members, partners, affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, and landlords and their respective officers, directors, and employees from Claims of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.
For Our Part:
FIRST, we will limit attendance, if needed, to ensure that if you are uncomfortable being in a crowded indoor area, there will be ample space available for you to practice safe social distancing without missing a beat.
ADDITIONALLY, we will be abiding by any mask or capacity requirements which may be mandated at the time of the event.
For Your Part:
For entry to the Ball ALL attendees are required to adhere to any mask mandate that may be in place at the time of the event.
We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:
• Within 14 days before attending the Ball you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
• Within 48 hours prior to attending the Ball, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
• Within 14 days prior to attending the Ball, you have travelled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.
